Urls do not accept WWW. #1723

Urls are rejected unless they include HTTP or HTTPS scheme

We may be deprecating this field.

Simplest fix here is adding some help text. More helpful fix is adding Javascript to ease data entry.

Personally I find the field usefully, I just don't like having to fill it out twice. I'd be curious what other users think. Do you think a survey would help.

I'm not an SEO expert by any means, but "more links is good" is the general mantra. In the post-AI search world, structured data is even better.

Easiest fix would be to change the help text to require http or https
