predict delays and/or disruptions #3

While realtime data becomes more and more common in urban public transport systems of Europe, predicting feature delays is not done very often. Especially when combined with routing, it can be really helpful to compute realistic directions for citizens.

@dirkschumacher, @juliuste and I did this for Berlin as an experiment.

predicting is tough, why not start with collecting good realtime data? at least that of Deutsche Bahn is not really reliable

derhuerst commented 6 years ago

for ideas more reliable realtime data, you're welcome to participate in #5.

people have recorded delay information for Berlin using our tool. the data is not the best, but it will definitely help to make rough (but helpful) predictions.

@lenaschimmel and @flauschzelle are working on Dystonse, which is closely related.
