accomodated multiple 'views' roots in lookup #50

hows that? it shoudl be reolving layouts in the multiple 'views' roots... but doesn't seem to be... oddly.. as that is working for me elsewhere... in the meantime, specyfying hte defaultLayout suffices. also, note the improved coffee-script utilization pattern... the docs deserve to be updated accordingly..
