Greg to look for various imagery and basemap sources including NASA. Find what the USA Structures data was build from. List links here for reference.

I haven't been able to find any basemap imagery sources that will work for our application. Here's a reference list from Esri: https://livingatlas.arcgis.com/en/browse/#d=2&cont=true&categories=Imagery%3A1000.

I've sent an email to Luch Coleman, Esri gov rep to find out about the use of Esri basemaps outside of Esri applications.

Email from Luci Colman about using Esri basemap imagery:

Hi Greg – Hope you are doing well! If you’re looking to pull an Esri base map into a custom app, you’ll need to include a token for ArcGIS credentials to ArcGIS Online. So long as you have a current ArcGIS Online account, you should be fine. If you’re using ArcGIS Online and/or Portal configurable apps for you data collection efforts, you should not have any issues leveraging an Esri imagery base map as the backdrop that orients your data collectors to submit new points, etc. This is a very typical workflow for both public/anonymous data collection and authenticated data collection. I’m including @Dolores Buljevic who can confirm. Best, Luci

I believe we can use Esri basemaps per the email from Luci above. I'm closing this task.
