Shorten long URLs #284

Since the urls can get very long we can optionally short these urls but currently nor service can support a url with an entire image's data in it

Hmm, maybe this one is not super high priority for now. I think it got more complicated once we started including image data in the URLs... I'm assuming no URL shortening services can handle that!
