(Mock-up) Make a drawing showing a way to tell people more about a particular layer

Issue :

This library uses a button to change layers :

On hovering on this button we get list of layers :

On clicking a particular layer - we need to figure out a way to show some information about that layer .

- For example : in the image above - when we clicked Skytruth we need to show information regarding Skytruth .

The drawing/solution should be such that it : 1.) does not distract the user while using the map . 2.) easily tells the user about the layer . 3.) matches with the color code of publiclab.org website .

Solution :

This issue requires you to submit a drawing of the solution .

Possible Solutions/ideas (open to new solutions as well 😄 ) :

• a shadow screen on map (an almost transparent type of screen just above map showing details)
• pop-up screen ? on the map itself ?
• open new tab on the browser ?
