Add search box/AOI selector and georeferencing capability to basemap #433

What happened just before the problem occurred

No problem just some suggestions for user experience. -Adding a search box or area of interest selector would make it easier to find/zoom to desired location -Adding georeferencing capability would allow user to more accurately "snap" or reference an image to the basemap via geographic coordinates/control points

Hi! Awesome, thank you so much for the input. We are actually very soon going to be adding auto-georeferencing with a better interface, but I believe you should be able to "place with GPS" once you upload images.

Can you explain a bit more how you imagine this working? I think it'd be great but would love to look at any examples or ideas you have. Thanks for your help!
