I tried a window in the baffle/sample container thingy ("chamber"?) which I think can just line up with the slit. I'm thinking that if we cut most of the far wall of this chamber off, it can create a flange to hold the bench. But the angled zone is different for a webcam vs. a smartphone, so that needs further work.
Chipboard for the chamber could be good, as it's more precise and there's advantages to having it be a separate piece since we were considering making it possible to raise it up on spacers to accommodate different phone camera positions.
So that the collimation slit is rigidly attached to the bench. http://publiclab.org/notes/mathew/08-01-2014/hardware-design-work-for-the-oil-testing-kit
