examine HDR strategies for slit patterns or new spectrum analysis in system in software.

nice! yes, a nice wide one with a more precise one next to it, on the same acetate... I want to try a very wide slit today to just see if it immediately solves exposure issues -- it'd be a great backup plan.

orientation throught here-- can we fit multiple spectra on the same image? if we spaced 2-4 slits, could we take several simultanious readings oriented vertically across the camera's view?

new camera and better geometry solves this, sensitivity is now better.
