Text for the About Page is drafted here: https://publiclab.org/wiki/wherewebreathe#About

@mmmelissa , when you get to coding this page later there is space for you to fill in your bio.

Just a note on this - anything which could change relatively often might be kept on the PL wiki, with the exception of information we really don't want anyone to edit/change. The idea would be to reduce maintenance time by not making people go through Github to update content.

Working on About page. Just wondering if you guys would like me to hyperlink other info than is explicitly stated here: https://publiclab.org/wiki/wherewebreathe#About

For example, in, "The project is run out of Public Lab, a grassroots environmental monitoring non-profit based in New Orleans, and is funded by the Passport Foundation", Public Lab, and Passport Foundation would be good things to hyperlink. Also stuff in your bios.

Thanks for this. Sure thing, we could hyperlink to those things, or if you think it looks better with minimal hyperlinks, I could get behind that too. Totally your call.

new issues raised in #31

• Put acronym of Where We Breathe in parentheses after its first usage (WWB) as we use the acronym later in the page. • Change “help the exposed explore mitigation options” to “help those with elevated chemical levels explore mitigation options.”

• This sentence “The project is run out of Public Lab, a grassroots environmental monitoring non-profit based in New Orleans, and is funded by the Passport Foundation.” Could be moved up to be the second paragraph, as we refer to “we” in the later in the page and also because we may remove PL from a central mention on the front page. • “Click hereto” a space should be added and hyperlink added to the privacy page. • “Nicole Novak, Epidemiological:” Seems to be missing something. Maybe “Nicole Novak, is our lead epidemiologist.” And to make the bios more uniform we could change “Ellen (Stevie) Lewis, Outreach Manager” to “Ellen (Stevie) Lewis, Leads our community outreach. She is the Outreach Manager at Public Lab…”
