Hi again, I was just discussing with @merkelp and wanted to refine my request and append something. So, what I was asking for was the following: when a set of search criteria are selected and the user clicks "Apply", the list of modules at the bottom of the page updates to display only modules matching the search parameters. I would like the page to additionally display somewhere the size of this set of modules, i.e. the number of modules matching the search criteria.
Petra had thought of another very nice feature which is to have the displayed graph of modules vs. time also update according to the search criteria, so that the graph would be populated using only the modules meeting the search criteria.
How does that sound? Let me know if anything is unclear.
Thanks! Jamie
Hello, the last thought I had regarding this, is that in my opinion it would be very nice if the total number of modules shown in the list when NO criteria are selected, were all the shipped modules. Basically, all the modules in the black curve of the plot on this page. Right now it is all the assembled modules I think.
This might be my last wish, but probably not ;-) Thanks, Petra

All, I added the number of matching modules near the bottom of the page. Also, I changed the list so that it only displays modules that have been shipped (or are at a higher assembly step).

This is awesome, thanks a lot!

Greg and I discussed the work involved to make the graph update whenever you apply a search criteria, and it will be a significant time investment. So unless we absolutely need this feature I'm going to ask Greg to prioritize other issues.
Hi Nick,
I agree, it is not such a high priority. I was thinking how we could improve this graph, meaning how we could display also the rejected modules that haven't undergone the full testing. I just would like to fill a bit the gap between the black and the other curves.
Cheers, Petra

Hi @gneeser , Thanks again for all the work you've been doing - the DB is becoming more useful for us every day!
I've got a Friday Feature Request for you. Ooh, that's got a ring to it, maybe I should make this a tradition! Anyway, I often find myself wanting to know how many modules are X, where X is "at FNAL" or "in transit to UIC", or "ready for mounting", etc. Would it be feasible for the "Tested Modules List" page to display the number of modules matching the search criteria just above the list of modules? Thanks! Jamie
