Shortened Due Date Letter sends recall notice when due date is extended

Hi Regine,

Here’s an example of the Recall notice problem. The due date was extended for this patron. It was not recalled. I think we need to look at other notices/letters for recalls. Would Shorten Due Date work?

If we extend a due date, the patron does not need a notice. We only do modifications like that in discussion with the patron.

Regine, Here’s another example of the odd Recall notice. It does seem that when we change the due date, a recall notice follows. This is obviously not what should happen. Can you help us sort this out?

This is expected behavior as previously noted. The Shortened Due Date letter gets triggered by any date change.
