CaMS has reached out about ArchivesSpace Subject headings that are invalid in MARC. These records impede discoverability locally as well as beyond, since we submit them to OCLC.
We started looking at a number of issues some time ago and have been chipping away, especially at the Agents records. Data issues we've identified include invalid source codes ("uncontrolled", "viaf"); unparsed subdivisions (a legacy issues stemming from EAD2002, which has no subdivisions); as well as incorrect subdivisions.
We'll need to address these one by one.

Implementation notes, if any
We'll start by running reports to isolate actionable issues that we can address.
