The project’s major accomplishment was a database compiled from the punch cards used by Professor Haynes McMullen in his decades-long research into American Libraries before 1876. The contents of this database are now being made available to researchers as a data set in X; a simple view of this data can be searched and browsed on this site.
- We should probably just say "The contents of this database are now available to be searched and browsed on this site."
The Davies Project also compiled an extensive bibliography and a collection of transcriptions, as well as a collection documenting the history of the Princeton University Library.
- I believe the libweb2 site has been crawled by Archive-It, but not yet cataloged in ASpace (I can't find it in Pulfalight). So maybe linking to the current site (http://libweb2.princeton.edu/rbsc2/libraryhistory/main.html) for now is the right thing to do? Ultimately, linking to the finding aid would be best.
