Multiple descriptions display clumped together when RTL, then LTR, then RTL

In most cases multiple descriptions are each in their own li element. However when the first is right to left, the second is left to right, and the third is right to left again, they display in a single text block (no list at all in the markup). Note that in dpul they are indexed multivalued, as separate values, so the issue is in rendering.
