Add EDM support to MARC / FA scanned resources

Summary

Will Noel and @jpstroop would like to share our open visibility digitized items of European provenance with Europeana . They will loop in Jennifer Baxmeyer to see if she wants to collaborate on the mapping.

Outstanding questions

• Does Europeana harvest using OAI vs iiif?
• what about Finding Aids Content?
• Will Will Noel/ someone from SC review the proposed content to send (like Dan Linke with the DPLA harvest)?
• Should this + OAI DC Harvest of ephemera ( #5073 ) be in the same workcycle?

Impact

Please include hard deadlines, if the exhibit is part of an event, the issue is stopping work, etc. There is no MOA/or expected harvest date. This is exploratory only at this point.

@jpstroop - to confirm, this is only exploratory atm, correct? We have not entered into a collaboration/agreement with Europeana and do not have a timeline?
