PUDL 0040 : Jefferson Letters #81

Date of project: At least from 2007. Stakeholder: Ben Primer Original Metadata/Descriptive needs: Stakeholder intended to do this himself Synopsis: Photography completed on >100 letters to/from Thomas Jefferson, selected by stakholder from various Special Collections at PUL.

Issues: Metadata: The work to connect these to the actual components is a major time investment (if it can be done). A question if this is worth doing DEI?: we should get to this someday, but there are a lot of more-pressing things we should do first. Does not fit prioritization criteria.

I must have a mental block against it! Like William Blake, I feel like it went nowhere due to lack of consensus about metadata and the letters coming from different collections 😱 , but that's all I've got.

That's about what I recall as well. I think I may also be confusing these letters with some Lincoln materials.
