This day -> Show each year as an album before showing each individual photo #1148

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. When I click on the year for "this day", it takes me right to the photo and I have to scroll left and right to see all the photos. It also takes me to the next year without really any notice, so it feels like one album but it's really spanning all years.

I do see that if I go through the menu I can find "On this day" which is a nice view too. Mostly my problem is on the mobile app. Clicking those top this day views for prior years automatically shows the images. "On this day" is buried on the mobile app under the Explore button.

Describe the solution you'd like It would be nice to see all the photos in the year I clicked, before requiring me to view photo by photo. Possibly clicking the year in the home page jumps you to the "On this day" page but scrolled to the year you clicked?

Describe alternatives you've considered Amazon Photos app does this by having tabs across the top for each year when you click into a year. You can click each tab to go through the years which brings up the year you clicked as an album view, showing all the photos for that year for "this day". You can also infinitely scroll down as it loads each year once you hit the bottom. You can also click into each photo at any time. When viewing a photo full screen, clicking back takes you to the album view of the year that photo was in.

Additional Context I'm not suggesting you mimic other photo services, I just wrote that up to indicate how Amazon does it. Whatever is the simplest to get out of jumping right into the single photo view when you click the year would be best.
