Currently in albums timeline photos are grouped by months. However for tags, if you scroll through all photos marked with a tag, you will instead get groupings by day.
Describe the solution you'd like
For consistency, it would be nice if both sections were grouped day-by-day.
However to quickly select many photos across long time spans it would be much more convenient to be able to click-select entire month.
--> Could the grouping interval be a little user settings that can be adjusted as desired? Day-by-day, week-by-week, month-by-month?
Describe alternatives you've considered
In the official photos app the handling is even worse, as there is no other options but to click photos one by one.
Additional context
I noticed this issue when tagging both my cats across 500 photos, and then realized I want to share them all with a friend. Clicking them all one by one (again!) is quite tedious.
