  • [ ] Turn on an apache server
  • [ ] Verify that the ec2 instance http endpoint can be reached
  • [ ] destroy instance
  • [ ] Add an EC2 instance in the private subnet using the console.
  • [ ] Connect using the public ec2 instance as a bastion host
  • [ ] SSH into the server
  • [ ] Verify that the ec2 instance can ping 8.8.8.8 (the external internet via the nat gateway
  • [ ] Verify that the EC2 instance doesn't have a public ip address
