Allow users to unprotect resources from the console #288

we have a state unprotect in the CLI, but it would be nice to go into the console and unprotect a resource

When a resource is protected it shows in listings with an icon and hover text: image

Clicking the icon takes you to the resource. The resource also has an icon and hover text: image

It would be nice usability improvement to have an option on the resource to unprotect the resource.

As an alternative, we should show the full command to run to unprotect the resource e.g.

To unprotect this resource, run: pulumi state unprotect urn:pulumi:dev::program::provider:mod:ResourceType::ap2
