Well, this is an upstream problem, but if I were the one who needed to support Android 2.3.6, I'd probably do it by offering the alternative of a regular boring upload button, which symfony 2 supports.

Hello,
i found some information in the web about this problem, but no way to solve the problem in my case.
I use Firefox 17.0, Android 2.3.6, Samsung Galaxy II. In the past I used a normal HTML file upload control in my website to upload the smart phones camera snapshots - directly after making the photo and saving it. Selecting the file on the hard disk wasn't necessary. The photo was uploaded onto my webserver using the normal html upload method.
Now it doesn't work anymore. And: No browser updates (FF, Opera, Chrome) for my smart phone are available. It's horrible.
What should I do?
