• Style - Module seems clean and easy to understand
• Documentation - Documentation is also clear, covers full usage and is easily understood
• Maintenance and Lifecycle - Module has a low amount of commits, but as with other this seems more due to a lack of need than anything else. Module tests are currently failing however this was being worked on as of December so may just be that author has not had time. As a note, module author is the only committer.
• License - Module is licensed under Apache
• Originality - There seems to be another more used Cassandra module under the ownership of Vox Pupuli, i.e: https://forge.puppet.com/modules/puppet/cassandra/readme. It does not seem to be actively maintained however.
• Metadata - Is good
• SemVer - Semantic Versioning is used
• Testing - Module seems to have sufficient testing, though it is currently failing to to issues with the setup.
• Puppet Versions and Features - Module is up to date with current Puppet and not reliant on any experimental features.

@rtib Taking a look at your module it has two issue that would need to be resolved before it could be approved:

• The first issue is the test failures, as we need to have confidence that the current incarnation of your module has no issues.
• The second is with the lack of community engagement on your module, with a lack of any other maintainers apart from yourself. If you could get back to me on both of these points we could see about getting your module approved.

I've just seen you comments on the original ticket. Those acceptance tests are driving me nuts, they fail as soon the test suit tries to connect to the docker container. All functional requirements are covered in spec test, however, thus I could just auto-accept the failed acceptance stage tests.

Regarding community engagement, I'd be really happy to have contributors and co-maintainers, unfortunately it seems to be not a very popular topic. The "concurrent" Cassandra module, currently maintained by Vox Pupuli, originally developed by locp, is following a very different approach and not really interchangeable.

I'll have a look on the module, which might need some maintenance and we've plans for some more features which might become public this year.

Hi @david22swan , I've just updated the module to get it ready for stdlib 9 and also fixed the test pipeline.
