M-x customize
is a good starting point for most basic customizations, and if you create an init-local.el
file containing elisp, then that will be loaded too. (Don't forget to add a (provide 'init-local)
line at the end of it.) Does that help? :-) I'll add this info to the README.
Hi, Thanks! It works! [but I got some unexpected issues. Probably no related to this software, the global performance of my laptop got affected. It's got slowed down, so slow. It takes long seconds to react and operating. So I had to remove the .emacs.d file and starting again].
When that happens, it should be possible to use something like Task Manager or Activity Monitor to see what's making the machine busy.
Hi group! I'm in my way with Emacs & I got great expectations of this particular init Emacs-file contribution. So this is not a issue but a question. I wonder if may I include some customization (basically switching to a different dictionary from English when on text/tex-mode). I'd really appreciate any clue on How-to or where I should place it if so. Txe.
