mc/mark-next-like-this not working #828

Hello @purcell, When I use mc-mark-next-like-this the additional cursor appears briefly and then disappears. The next edit is done only with the initial cursor.

This is happening on macOS Ventura 13.0 The emacs is downloaded via brew install --cask emacs Emacs version 28.2 I did a fresh git clone of this repo into my ~/.emacs.d/ so the config and packages are up to date.
