Over 17 years later, maybe it's time to update Miller's book?
For a while now, the audio examples have been modernized to include new features and have been revised in other ways by me. The book lives in https://msp.ucsd.edu/techniques.htm and it carries a download for all the examples used in the book as well as patches used to create the figures. Therefore, is not that big of a deal to have examples that are more up to date. Nonetheless, I think it'd be a good idea to revise the book and include the new state of the patches and add new figures.
@ben-wes has agreed to help with the html/online version.
I'm not sure about the publishing issues, if we'd need to have a new book release or what.
as long as we're talking about updating the book, it really misses a new section that takes advantage of multichannel connections, see https://github.com/pure-data/pddp/issues/147
