What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.try to upload a file to a place that you have only read permission
2.let the upload file be big enough so that a noticable time is needed to
upload it
3.wait for GSS to refuse to upload a file
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
This is not a bug but an enhancement. It would be expected that the GSS would
first check the rights and then try to upload a file but it seem to me that
it's the other way around. User must wait for a whole file to upload (which can
be minutes, hours...) just to see that he does not have the rights to upload at
all.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
We are using GSS 1.5.1. compiled from source on 64-bit CentOS 5.
