sharing and properties options

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Click on any file(s) in other's shared directory
2. Nothing shows up when choosing "sharing" or "properties" option

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Sharing or file properties dialog should open like it does on "my files" but it 
does not seem to work in other's shared directory.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

We are using gss 1.5.1 I think, source dated from 31.08.2011 on centos 5 64bit 
servers.
