So I've cleaned up our giant https://github.com/purpleidea/mgmt/pull/704 branch and here it is in feat/merge. This is for your review and approval! It's basically the last iteration of #704 but split up into multiple commits. I've added Co-authored-by: Samuel Gélineau tags for you everywhere, but if you'd prefer I'd do this differently, or if I've missed something, please let me know!

I'm pretty excited to get this in and looking forward to what comes next! Thanks again!
