Also resolves leadership issues with Slack/Hipchat invites.

Specialized invitations, e.g. through external channels, can be build by implementing checkConfig and send methods. See https://github.com/pusher/atom-pair/blob/f38cf80948f8ad87033d3e202cd4f8ee9bf2649f/lib/modules/invitations/slack_invitation.coffee
