✅ If you haven't already, get up to speed with the Pusher Hacktoberfest contributor guide.

What do I need to do?

Build an app with Pusher! For inspiration check out some of the popular use cases for Pusher.

⭐️ Special prize: If you use any of the new Pusher features your demo app (cache channels, users model and subscription count) you’ll win the full swag pack!

How do I submit?

  1. Fork the README.MD file in the pusher/hacktoberfest repo
  2. Make a pull request with a link to your demo app and an email address so that we can reach out to you to claim your swag.

Note: This issue is open to everyone and you do not need to be assigned to this issue to submit!

This issue is open to everyone and you do not need to be assigned to this issue to submit. When you make your PR, I'll label it as 'hacktoberfest-accepted' so your PR counts as participation towards Hacktoberfest.

Hi @britneycodes Is it possible to work on this in a team of 2 people? As in, will it still count towards hacktoberfest for both the individuals?

Hey @unrealsoul007, yes you can work in teams of two and we’ll send you both swag! Just include both of your details on the PR.

@britneycodes For the special prize do we only have to use 1 of the 3 new features in the app? Also we can just make any app that utilizes pusher correct?

Hey @CursedRock17, yes for the prize you'll need to implement one of the 3 new features but the more the merrier! Yes!
