gnome-control-center build with Ubuntu patches for Xorg fractional scaling on Manjaro / Arch Linux

Fractional scaling toggle does not persist and no new options #1

Open rxng opened 3 years ago

rxng commented 3 years ago

After installing this, the fractional scaling toggle pops up in gnome settings so that’s great, however when it’s toggled on, the scaling options are still 100% 200% 300%

It also keeps switching back to off after navigating away from it

I am on latest manjaro and have used Pac-Man to upgrade the system so on gnome 40 now

Wonder if this is a big?

Hi, thanks for reporting the issue. Could you please also provide the output of:

and run gnome-control-center -v , try to enable/set fractional scaling and post the output. Thanks!

I'm having this exact same problem and the output of gnome-control-center -v is: WARNING: g_settings_set_value: value for key 'experimental-features' in schema 'org.gnome.mutter' is outside of valid range this is also the same message I see when I try to set the setting on the command line
