Since both programmers and non-programmers alike, from various backgrounds will use this framework, do you prefer using programming terms such as int, float, string or more layman-friendly terms such as integer, decimal and text?

Layman terms pros/cons

(+) Understandable by everyone
(-) More work on our side
(-) Inconsistent with the API

I think int, float, string are good, and we can help non-programmers with documentation. I've found that my non-programmer students adapt easily to these terms.
