I'm facing the same problem. What is the possible solution for this? Meantime I
started downloading Python 2.6.6.

Has anyone managed to resolve this? I've started poking around at getting a
version installing on Windows 7, but haven't made it very far yet.
I've got the Windows SDK installed, and have made sal.h available, but there
are tons of build errors.

Here is a beta build done today from the trunk sources of pybluez.
Hope it will help people not having visual studio to do manual install.

Sorry if this is a dumb question. Is PyBluez supposed to provide the
_widcomm.pyd or am I supposed to get that from Broadcom?
I don't think this matters, but I'm on Windows XP.
Thanks.

Just installed Python 2.6 and PyBluez 0.18, and _widcomm.pyd is there and the
inquiry.py runs just fine.
So, for 0.19 beta, I guess for some reasons, _widcomm.pyd is not included?
