The .deb file allows installing simplex with sudo apt install, which works like a charm. There is one thing you have to do to your nginx installation, which I mention in the README.md. I think this is a pretty good balance between "just works" and "doesn't interfere with whatever else you have set up". Although if you already have simplex installed some other how you have to clean out that installation.
If we did this to GeoplotRgui and IsoplotRgui (with however many instances we feel is a good number) we can have them all installable and uninstallable independently, with just this one nginx change enabling them all.
