[Feat] How can we make iOS compat more clear? #4528

Tell us about your feature idea

Currently, we test for, and talk alot about, APIs such as share, share target, shortcuts, background sync etc that dont work in our iOS platform. This is further complicated by the fact that API support between Safari and WKWebView also differ, so things that may work in Safari will not work in our platform. This has led to periodic questions around API support in our iOS platform.

Do you have an implementation or a solution in mind?

We could mark each API that we test with a "not supported in iOS" icon of some sort, or maybe make it clear in the tooltip for these capabilities tests.

Have you considered any alternatives?

We don't do anything and just handle the questions as they come, which is what we have done historically
