This manual was started when the F256jr was the only model and is mostly written from its perspective with differences in the F256k called out as exceptions.

This manual will focus on the features of the F256jr. Differences pertaining to the F256k will also be clearly noted.

I'm not terribly happy with the first sentence. I think I'll replace the original with "Differences between the systems will be clearly noted."

Sounds good. I'm offering suggestions on areas I think can benefit from some edits. You should certainly alter it to your voice and style.
