Tried to instal [i.e. update] using add to firefox or Beta Add to Firefox on
this site. Both ask to download zip files which has elenents which refer to
Chrome, viz: 4 directories
chrome
defaults
resource
searchplugins

and 3 files
chrome manifest
install.rdf
license.txt

link location is http://j.mp/beta_005

Suspect you click on the link and fx opens it with Winzip or what do you try to
tell us?

What are the settings in Fx options below applications for xpi files and what
are the your OS "open with..." settings for XPI files?

Let the file drop into Fx window....

Thanks for the reply. This time I managed to download addon-

2013.04.10.001-fx.xpi

I've installed it as an addon on the assumption it will overwrite the old
version and see what happens - will check it after reboot.

[with old version same Fx tabs appear in different TBM tabs, deleting one
makes it delete in all the TBM tabs

Still with the same problems, new TGM tab appears to contain all the tabs
of the previous TGM tab, moving a tab from one TGM tab to another results
in the tab appearing as a new TGm tab with 0 content [disappears after
restart], any moved tabs re-appear in former places - just had a look and
TabGroupsManager 2013.04.10.001 appears in addons.

Firefox is 35.01, system is Win 7 pro, tabs 140, TGM tabs 13

Sorry but as long you try to use a absolute outdated TGM version together with
Firefox 35 you will have no success. That is why we have the beta 105 in th
meantime.

Sorry, I thought it was a stable version vs a beta version - I'll try the
beta105

I have put in beta105 and it is working really well. The only thing that
was a little out was 2 TGM tabs were swapped on the next reboot -
everything fine, nothing lost, trivial point.
