I cannot reproduce this on Safari/Chrome/Firefox. What browser are you using; are you sure you don't have some extension (a dark mode extension for example) that is messing with the CSS?

My OS: Debian Chrome: Version 124.0.6367.78 (Official Build) (64-bit) P.S., Chrome is installed by the deb package downloaded from google website.

For extensions, I only have: Evernote, lastpass, google scholar, oneTab, Google Mail and GNOME shell.
