Wow, that's horrible. So I'm guessing you're having an issue keeping the device on at all now. Your only option would be to restore the phone with a computer and ipsw. I'm wondering if somehow your snapshot has gotten corrupt or what happened that is causing the device to reboot every minute on its own. If I recall I had this exact issue once before but I don't recall what I did that caused it. Can you tell me how you exactly removed chimera? Using what tool? Did you jailbreak your iPhone on a lower iOS version and update the phone while never restoring the rootfs somehow? Please try to remove anything that could help. I can easily try to reproduce this horrible issue with my iPhone 6 also. Or any other iOS 12 device I have to see how to never have it happen again hopefully

I just switched from Chimera to Freya since Chimera was giving me issues, did all the required steps to switch, and rebooted my phone before the jailbreak. I waited the required minute, and then I jailbroke it. It started normally, but after some time (75 seconds?) it crashed (I assume, possibly just rebooted) and turned on fine, absolutely fine. And it doesn't matter if I don't jailbreak it or not; it just reboots again, and I just want to know why this is happening.

Hello! To answer your questions, I removed chimera by following the guide at ios.cfw.guide , and I updated it to 12.5.6 as soon as I got the phone before I jailbroke it, so no, and I am using an unlocked carrier Canadian iPhone, don't know if that'll help but anything counts I guess.
My phone is 5s 12.5.7 after jailbreak the device auto reboot and reboot again I tried restore rootfs to remove chimera jailbreak after jailbreak with freya again the phone keep reboot how to fix
What version of freya did you use? Also how did you remove chimera? What did you use first to jailbreak? Did you use a computer when you updated to iOS 12.5.7

Without computer:))
And when you were on iOS 12.5.6 - did you Jailbreak it with chimera ? Did you remove chimera with chimera app or Freya on iOS 12.5.6? If you Jailbroke 12.5.6 that is. Tell me all the history of previous done things. Because I cannot reproduce this issue anymore. I’ll try doing an update via ota too and see if I can recreate the issue. But I need to do exactly what you did to hope I can recreate it. And bad news, I’m sorry to say. But when your device reboots after a 1min to 2min uptime on its own, Jailbroke Or not, the device is currently messed up and cannot be fixed without using a computer and installing a fresh 12.5.7 Ipsw onto it. You must do a restore and not an update via your computer. I can help with this more if you need help or don’t understand what I’m saying. But you will definitely need a computer to fix your current state of your device. Sorry

btw, that guy hijacked this issue. i am the og poster.
I am having a similar issue on an iPhone 6 plus on 12.5.6, it does not reboot if its not in a jailbroken state, but every morning, if I look at my phone it sometimes randomly reboots and I lose my jailbreak, I have safeshutdown installed so I could try to avoid losing my jailbreak, but the reboots make it kind of useless, I would go back to chimera, but chimera sucks, it literally reboots almost every time you click the jailbreak button, so Freya is currently the best option for my phone, it would be great if the reboot issue could be fixed though.

I am having a similar issue, so basically first I jailbroke it successfully with chimera, and I installed some tweaks, but whenever I would lose my jailbreak, it would take around an hour just to rejailbreak just cause of how glitchy chimera is, so I searched for a new jailbreak and found freya jailbreak, I installed it and it said I needed to remove chimera, so instead of using the restore root fs in chimera, I removed it with freya, which I dont regret because freya is a lot better than chimera, but I am having those reboot issues sadly.
I'll definitely look into the issue asap

Ok thank you, some more helpful information is that the issue Mostly occurs when I am in a jail broken state and I’m using web-based applications (mostly safari) and if I watch videos on safari it increases the risk of a random reboot (I sometimes watch stuff on zoro.vc and get rebooted) especially when I mess around with the video player actively (changing volume, and spot in video, etc)
I'll definitely look into the issue asap

Ok so I just opened the AppStore while jailbroken and my phone rebooted, I’d say the most obvious pattern here is that the phone only reboots when I’m actively using it, I can leave it jailbroken all night and in the morning it still is, but when I actively use it, it reboots, mostly when I’m using apps, I’m not sure if this is because the iPhone 6 Plus has 1.5 gigs of ram or if it’s related to some other issue. Also the reboots don’t happen every single time when I open certain apps. It happens at random, cant say why.
Ok thank you for all of the info. I'll have to look into this issue more in depth as it seems to be a memory issue. Can you also check a log file for me when it reboots? I'll find you the location to check and read for me as well.

Ok, I already have filza installed, I can possibly DM you a log file if you can send me the path to the logs
I was able to make my phone do one of the random reboots, I can confirm it happens when too much stuff is happening on the phone, I kept closing and opening an app over and over and swiping my screen when it was jailbroken, and it caused the reboot, I then did this in a non jailbroken state and it did not reboot, I will work on finding my logs for you.

I do not know if thats the correct log, but I'm pretty sure it is because I found it in my crashreports folder right after the time my phone shut down, if it isnt the right one tho just let me know and i can try to find the right one,
OK, so I was looking through my logs, and I think its a memory issue indeed, I have many different tweaks logging errors when I am overloading my phone by using it too much, I'll send all the error logs here.

You can see that they are different from their coalition id's in the logs...
rocketbootstrap is one of the coalition ID's and may be part of the issue, although its a commonly used tweak, I am going to attempt removing it for now and see if that serves as a temp fix
OK rocketbootstrap is gone, I couldn't find it in cydia for a minute, but I found it, removed it, I no longer am able to use gif2ani sadly, but now im going to try to overload my phone.
Ok so removing rocketbootstrap uncovered the real issue... I got a kernel panic log...
I hope thats able to help, I'm not very good with apple developing, but I think I sent the info you requested
Removing rocketbootstrap uncovered the real issue? Did you send the kernel panic after you removed rocketbootstrap? The log I want is from my jailbreakd. I will let you know where the location is later today. I'm busy with many things today. But I will let you know which log to check for me please

Alright, I’ll wait until then
Hi, recently jailbroke with freya freshly 12.5.7 flashed, never had reboot issues before although i did took apart the device looks like im having the same bug type (210) as the user @catoapowell i do not know what causes this but when nothing is happening the device works fine, but when i start listening to music most of the time i get a kernel panic the same as the user above, even in unjailbroken mode...
Can you attempt a few steps and verify issues persist or not? Restorerootfs. Remove the Jb. Freshly restore the device with a new ipsw and computer. Leave the device for a few mins. Listen to music and see if any problems persist. After testing playing music without touching a jailbreak. Then start the jailbreak process. First do just the snapshot. Then after the device reboots. Test music. Test stability. Then jailbreak and install Cydia. Reboot the device and test music in a non jb state again. Also please let me know which injection tool you choose while initially jailbreaking and installing Cydia.
