The summary describes this one. In jmm-timeline, the user is presented a 
slider. Issues here are the granularity of the slider.

Here's an idea. don't do away with the slider, but let the user know if she's 
in range of a minute, hour, day, or week - Math.floor() style.

Over the last two hours or less, added the time zoom slider, created a function 
that changes step and updates the zoom-range span. Also added the zoom-range 
span.
