2024 may newsletter #381

The May 2024 newsletter edition is ready for review! @lwasser my big question for you is whether or not you want me to use href for all external links (similar to what we did in the educational resources blog post), or if the current link setup is OK.

happy to be wrong on this, but it looks like the only link htmlproofer is unhappy with is the blog post link itself, so I think we're good to 🤞

You nailed it @kierisi !! we can expect it to be unhappy with a new page that is not yet online.

ok i'm done experimenting. all looks great @kierisi if you can make those changes around pycon that would be wonderful - just reminding folks that we will be there and will be active and around and have stickers!! they can come say hello to me!
