What is the problem?

The syrup-consuming prod-boosted composter can be placed from imported blueprints (or via the building selection tool in Factory Planner and probably other similar things) without having selected the TURD. It seems likely that the opposite is also possible.

With Factory Planner at least, it's easy to accidentally place the wrong composter, as all 8 (4 tiers, 2 types) are in the same building selection list.

I can't reproduce this.

It's true that the blueprint ghosts are obtainable for the sweet syrup composters however if you try to build the ghost without the correct turd upgrade it will just default back to the intended (non syrup) composter.

I can add a little more detail after finally poking at this again. If you acquire a ghost of the illegal composter, and then manually build it, it reverts to the legal version. But if a logistics bot places it, it remains the illegal version.

All 8 composters appearing in factory planner is bad behavior too, but that may be down to engine limitations and/or FP's fault.
