What is the problem?

I placed a spent nexelit battery in an advanced locomotive, hoping it would help store extra energy. It didn't seem to have any effect (even though the locomotive had diesel fuel canisters in it). That may be intended, though strange; however, when I right-clicked to mine the locomotive, the battery vanished. It wasn't in the locomotive, nor in my inventory, nor my trash slots, nor lying on the ground. It seems to have just been deleted.

Steps to reproduce

1. Place advanced locomotive on tracks
2. Open locomotive fuel menu
3. Put spent nexelit battery into locomotive's equipment grid
4. Close out of menu
5. Mine (pick up) the locomotive
6. Battery is now vanished from game.
