Application looks like a casual game in the store... #2

... even though it is an awesome file system browser on my phone.

I think many people are missing out on this great application because of this - I have been looking for a file manager before but never clicked cargo dock in the Jolla store. Discovered it somewhere else later. On the other hand, when other people try my phone, they always open the app because they think it's a game ;-)

I like the metaphor, but I suggest to rename the application to something like "Cargo Dock File Browser" or "File Dock". Also, IMHO the icon could be a little bit less game-ish, maybe less details and having a reference to files somehow...

Let me know if I can help out with something.

Just a suggestion, feel free to simply discard it of you do not agree.

Great app, anyway. Thanks a lot. :)

Yeah, I admit there's a publicity problem... :( Cargo Dock needs a good and recognizable cover image for the store. Do you have any suggestions?

I have an idea in mind - I will give it a shot later that day and send you a draft... if you like it, we can elaborate on it :)

Here you go... keep in mind, this is just a draft, a bit rough and not (yet) completely in line with the SailfishOS icon guidelines, but probably enough to get the idea - a box of files (keeping the cargo metaphor :)

Let me know what you think, whether I should elaborate; or don't hesitate to tell me if you do not like the idea ;-)

Thanks for your suggestion, but I'd rather stay with the current icon (especially because it is already used for applying for Dropbox API approval and cannot be changed there).

But Cargo Dock is in need of a cover for the Jolla Store. Can you try something based on the current icon? We could also try to improve the app icon based on the current design, if it doesn't change too radically.

Oh... sorry. I completely missed your response. Just saw the new cover image in the store, at least now I know what this term refers to ;-) Even though IMHO the problem described above still exists, I think we can just close this suggestion :)
