SUCCESSFULLY updated maybe 4 Exp Board 3.1 + LoPy4, and 5 Pygate + LoPy4 two days ago using 1.6.5 pycom-fwtool.
Yesterday and today the pycom-fwtool is FAILING to install "pybytes" to the Exp Board + LoPy4, and also failing to install "pygate" to the Pygate + LoPy4, consistently with the error "Error creating Device record". Tested with multiple recently ordered LoPy4 boards (1.20.1.r2?) mounted on multiple new Expansion Board 3.1 and Pygate using the latest 1.6.5 version of pycom-fwtool.
This is on 2 different workstations and 2 different laptops (all running Ubuntu 20.04) on both my home and work networks.
The problem can be bypassed by downloading the pybytes / pygate firmware "LoPy4-1.20.2.r6.tar.gz" from here:
