@ssbarnea - You've been the most active participant? Any interest?
I will do my best to review PRs and to release new versions whenever is needed but I cannot guarantee new development.
@aelse I switched jobs recently and my involvement with Atlassian is considerably lower now. Still, in order to keep the project alive I would recommend switching it under the PyContribs github organization, where there are several people that can take care of it. Jira library is under the same organisation too.
Thanks Sorin, I'll have a look at PyContribs.
@aelse @ssbarnea , It's been a while, but I've appreciated the usefulness of python-crowd. Maybe I can help? I expect to have a small pull request coming up soon.
@potus98 Sure, you are welcomed. Just remember to mention me on github when you need my help, or even on irc on #pycontribs channel, I may not respond instantly by I do get all messages and will act on them.
I have no further interest in crowd which means that I am willing to hand it over to the next maintainer really easy, I just need to see that things are going to the right direction.
@ssbarnea , thank you for the reply. I'm actively using python-crowd by developing python tools that import and use python-crowd. We needed a small enhancement to support additional crowd API functionality. Will submit a pull request soon, but wanted to connect with the community first, introduce myself, and ensure I was approaching the pull request respectfully.
If I submit a pull request for python-crowd, is it likely to be reviewed? Or, should I be seeking maintainer status? I'm willing to pitch-in and don't have any plans to make any major changes.
Any suggestions are welcomed. Certainly don't want to waste your time! -John
edit: After I get our current need resolved, I'd like to take a look at some of the outstanding issues. Maybe there's other features that can build upon what you've started.
Hi @kiorky @ssbarnea @hdost Bumping thread in hopes of connecting with someone from pycontribs. If I submit a pull request for python-crowd, is it likely to be reviewed? Or, should I be seeking maintainer status? I'm willing to pitch-in and don't have any plans to make any major changes.
Push a PR and make a mention.

In the past week I've merged in and dealt with a number of PRs and issues, many of which have been outstanding for longer than a year. This is the last of the updates that I intend to make.
When I created this library it was something useful to me in my work that I thought others could also use. I published it on github and on pypi, hoping to help the widest audience. I no longer user this module myself and it's become a burden to the small community of users that I continue to own it without giving it the care and attention it requires.
This module needs a new owner of the code and pypi package. Please get in touch if you are interested.
