What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install GNOME MPlayer in GNOME
2. Try to set it as default multimedia player in Preferred Applications
3. You don't find it there
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
see GNOME MPlayer there
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
