Maximized window issues #393

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
 latest SVN on latest ArchLinux

When i maximize window there are two issues
1.) when i start video playback window is made smaller to fit video (even
when such resizing is disabled in preferences) - this happens even when
window is not maximized, but with maximized window it's annoying because i
need to maximize it with each new video loaded...

2.) when i close gnome-mplayer and start it again, it have the same size as
before close, but it's not maximized...

hmm sometimes window resizes even when playing sound only... basicaly the
resizing
policy of g-mp seem to be very strange for me...

Not sure if it works with maximized, but do you have the Remember Window
Location and
Size option checked?

Maximized windows in my opinion are special and apps should really not start
this way.

Can you retest SVN

For videos the window should stay the same size unless you have "Resize window
when new video is loaded" checked. In that case the window will be resized to
the height and width of the video + the window decorations

For Audio files, the window is generally made as small as possible, unless the
playlist is opened.
