Keeps playing after pressing stop #648

Tested with mp3 and ogg files. Did not occur when I tested with a video file.
I guess this might be an upstream mplayer issue, but I don't know.

The first time I click stop while a file is playing, instead of stopping, it
almost always restarts playing from the beginning of the file, although the gui
pretends it has stopped.
If I then click play, it pauses. If I then click pause, it continues playing.
If I click play to pause it, and then click stop, it restarts playing from the
beginning again.

I am running in Arch, with GTK2.

Oh, OK. I have installed 1.07b of everything, and yes, it is fixed in
gnome-mplayer.
But the same problem occurs in geck-media-player. Should I open a ticked for
it, or for gmtk?

Please open a new issue here: http://code.google.com/p/gecko-mediaplayer/

And please provide a way to repeat the issue. I have tested audio files at this
site: http://fredrik.hubbe.net/plugger/test.html and audio seems to work well.

Please note that streaming media is actually stopped and restarted from the
beginning when you click stop. Also ensure that gecko-mediaplayer is also 1.0.7
and that it is actually using the 1.0.7 version of gnome-mplayer.

No, actually, more testing reveals that is only rarer with 1.07. Most of the
time it doesn't occur. Occasionally it does occur, but I can't figure out how
to reliably reproduce it.

I guess you mean that streaming restarts from the beginning when you click
_play_.

Yes, gmtk, gnome-mplayer and gecko-mediaplayer are all 1.0.7. I do not have
any older versions installed.

Hmmm. On my system it seems I always see this bug now. Currently using 1.0.9,
but that doesn't make a difference.

Should this really have been merged into #634?
